Lightly armed freighters are always in fear of raiders and pirates lurking in the shadows. Especially when those freighters stray away from shipping lanes and alone.

Commerce in a War Torn Galaxy
In any time at peace or war commerce is always needed. Between nation states, planets, systems, and alliance trade is vital to the stability of any society. To add to my fleet of ships is this small band of commerce ships from the Babylon 5 universe.

Raiders and Pirates
Raiders and Pirates are among the scoundrel of the galaxy. I finally finished up a small raider fleet that consists of 4 Raider Carrier, 2 Battle Wagons, and 28 flights of Delta Fighters.
These raiders are going to be mercenaries attached to the Syndicate forces in the rift. They are going to cause some trouble for both the Kurak Alliance and the Zenian League.
This raider carrier has found a only cargo freighter that is ripe for raiding.

Veydreth Hunter Class Destroyer
In the beginning I bought a few Veydreth Hunter Class Destroyers and I have now finally painted them up to added to the Alliance of Kurak.
Anton Kurak realised early on that the Veydreth tribes represented a considerable source of military strength which could easily be harnessed to the Terran cause.
Through his contacts within the Hawker Consortium, Kurak arranged for many Veydreth tribes to be taken on as mercenaries. In addition to the payments they would receive, Kurak’s agents made clear to the assenting chieftains that they would be free to loot and pillage whatever they liked from assets belonging to the Dindrenzi and their allies.
Many Veydreth leaders and their tribes jumped at the chance, not only to garner a slice of the spoils of war, but also at the prospect of testing their martial skills against a whole new array of potential opponents.
I now bring to bear the Hunter Class Destroyer. This subtle stealth ranged hunter is designed to circle its target like a bird of prey, working best from a distance where it can utilize its broadside launch tubes to become an invisible killer when it cuts its engines. Indeed, no one is safe when the Veydreth are unleashed!

Firestorm Armada: Aquan Reinforcements and Upgrades
It has been sometime since I gave my Aquan forces some much needed reinforcements and upgrades. I bought a bunch of ships a few years ago and decided that I needed to paint them and added them to the fray. So tonight the Aquan launch the new battleship and stingray destroyers and send them off into the twilight to defend the universe from the onslaught of the Directorate.
The Stingray is a formidable weapon the Aquan forces have brought to the fight. Its broadsides have a deadly strike that only increases with range. Its fore weapons are by no means weak, and a full squadron of Stingrays can bring ruin to the enemy from afar.

Andromeda Ascendant Returns
A few years ago I bought a Andromeda Ascendant 3D printed model and I finally got around to painting it. I have decided that Captain Dylan Hunt of the Highguard will return to bring back the Systems Commonwealth. I was unable to find suitable slip fighters so I substituted B-3 Designs Romulan Scorpion Fighters. I think they fit the part and look awesome.
